i went to klpac yesterday to watch a play by mark beau de silva entitled 'jesus lives in south korea'. it supposed to be a comedy drama, but i end up thinking dat dis is a pretty heavy play about beliefs (urself and god). they did injected sum comedy, but it is not dat obvious to call it a comedy drama. i duno. dats what i think.

i was there with ash n sham, n we agreed dat we have to continuously think about what they say during the play. n like wat sham said ' if its possible, i wana jot down apa derang cakap, sbb takut terlupa n think about it after the play'.

the actor n the actresses were good. i didnt see anyone is better than the rest or vice versa, because they are all the same. they gave the same impact. n its a good one.

very simple setting. it reminds me of the macbeth play that i watched there, few years ago by some australian production. very simple setting, but it is sufficient for the whole play.

overall, a good play to watch. but if u r planning to watch this play n hoping to crack your head with laughter during the whole 90 mins, u r wrong because it requires thinking. a whole lot of it.

perlu, ke?

i went to watch RHTA last saturday at klpac. and i felt that it could be better. especially the acting part and those jokes that they trying to show. sum are very flexible/natural wit their acting and sum, u can see it, like they r trying very2 hard and uncomfortable with their character.

and another thing, when u said that klpac gives freedom for everyone to be creative and sumtimes, it doesnt adhere with our norms and cultures, i think, it just feel weird and inappropriate. and for RHTA, sum of 'the scene', i think is insignificant. perlu, ke? u can go without it or, do it differently. i duno. dats what i think. being creative doesnt mean that u have to be different from the mainstream.again, perlu sangat, ke?

and the subtitles, is so at the side and i think it is very difficult for those who cant understand bm to read it and at the same time, enjoy the play. n i noticed they did not translate everything. i felt pity for sum mat saleh who were there last week.

overall, its an ok theater by our local writer.maybe the pressure to become like those westerners, made them came out with this-kinda acting and interpretation. its pretty cheap, rm23 for students. so, if u gt the chance to watch this, go ahead because u will surely get what i mean by 'the scene'.

p/s : Adli in this play reminds me alot of zulhazmi che seman, my so-called qut junior. the way he speaks and move and everything. maybe the brother. i duno.

star world and keropok lekor

its been a while i didnt really spend my time infront of the tv. it is really awesome. its raining now, im watching american idol, it was glee before, n its raining. n theres keropok lekor and internet.

i went to visit one of my primary school teachers this chinese new year with some of my friends. puan giam , guru kelas when i was in standard 4. catching up n a whole lot more. it reminds me of my primary years ; lotsa sweet memories, being the head prefect n all. n i realized, its different now, the way we talk to her n the topics. n mun khea, actually mentioned, 'dulu, rasa pendek sangat, now, macam same height jer'. n yes, i agreed. ;P

we discussed about current issues, unity, MGS n mostly, our future. i can see how happy she is when we arrived n talk about how berjaya we are today. sebak rasanya.

we have grown up n its been more than 10 years, but, teacher, we will still be ur student.

Still others suggest a book not because they are interested in it from a literary point-of-view but because they think it will offer them an opportunity to make points of personal interest to them. Different expectations and education/skill levels may lead to conflicts and disappointments in clubs of this kind.
